Desktop Uploader download is fishy?

When I tried to download Desktop Uploader Google screamed on file, MalwareBytes screamed on file both as it failed its scanner and download link is not https and uses some anonymous storage on google drive.

After I finally managed to download and start installation, Windows screamed, and when it finally was started it was in seems like Turkish language.

This is very suspicious.

Regarding everything else about Mapilio, trust level goes down quite fast.

Yes, unfortunately, we have such an issue on the desktop uploader side. We are currently working on a new uploader version and will release the new version soon.

The signature part is absent. It’s not malware. We’ll remove it for the time being and intend to release a newer version soon. We appreciate your report.
